About Ella
My journey into wellness didn’t start from a place of perfection, it started from feeling unwell.
At the start of 2025, I completed a five-month gut cleanse protocol that completely changed my relationship with my body. Through that process, I healed symptoms I had lived with for years: low energy, chronic bloating and stomach pain, severe allergies, skin irritation, and hormonal imbalance.
I learned firsthand how powerful food can be when it’s used with intention. I truly believe food is medicine.
Now, I’m in a season of maintaining the work I did and learning how to support my body in a way that feels normal, social, and sustainable. That’s the season Ella Friendly is rooted in.
I started sharing the recipes, routines, and lessons I’m learning along the way, not from a place of extremes, but from the middle ground where real life happens.
Outside of food and wellness, movement has always been a part of my story. I played Division I lacrosse, have run a marathon, and am a certified spin instructor. I know discipline. I know extremes. I also know burnout.
