About Ella
I've spent most of my life moving.
As a Division I athlete, marathon runner, and certified spin, mat Pilates, and group fitness instructor, movement has always been my foundation. Today, I teach throughout South Carolina's Lowcountry, helping people build strength, confidence, and a genuine love for exercise.
For years, I believed the biggest changes happened in the gym.
Then I realized the biggest transformation of my own health happened in my kitchen.
At the start of 2025, I completed a five-month gut healing protocol that completely changed the way I felt. I healed years of low energy, chronic bloating and stomach pain, severe allergies, skin irritation, and hormonal imbalances, not by exercising more, but by learning how to nourish my body.
That experience changed the way I approach wellness.
I still believe movement is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. But I also know that fitness alone isn't enough. The workouts helped me become stronger; the food helped me become well.
That's why Ella Friendly exists.
It's a place where fitness comes first, nutrition supports it, and wellness feels realistic. Here you'll find energizing workouts, anti-inflammatory recipes, and simple habits that fit into real life, not rigid rules or all-or-nothing thinking.
